Hey Everyone, Any ACVW aficionados out there? FYI, most Factory VW's came with Solex downdraft style carbs. Thanks to Tim and his ability to find a manual on Dual Solex's I was able to get these installed and working on our '74 VW Westy Camper. Thanks Tim They still need some tuning when I get some more time. Tim, if you find any more, please feel free to post them. |

Hi 64bug, I certainly wouldn't mind some VW info as most of my old paper manuals are worn out big time! I have 4 VWs presently, a turbo'd 2180 street legal sandrail, a 1776 fiberglass buggy, a '58 Karmann and a '71 Karmann and am always looking for details to keep them going. Thanks, Tim, for having a great inventory of manuals. I bought your e-book on the T56 6 speed so I can put a bigger input shaft in my '04 Cobra. You rock! |
